Sketch book for May

Doing pretty well keeping up. Lots of painting in it this week. Here's a peak. All of these are water color.

I don't always get to it each day, but I'm pretty consistant, week by week. No rules, just marks.

sketch book

The best I can do lately is to work in the sketchbook, as the week rushes by in a blurry whirlwind..
or in a rush of paper, markers, and paint..

Keeping the house from blowing away with comings and goings. Anchored to one spot for a small iota of time..

Stillness will come eventually.

summer's end

This weekend is the last one before school starts for us. Lots of hubbub, backpacks, pencils, paper..blah blah. I've managed only to work in the sketchbook for the last week or so, but that's something, plus lots of knitting going on. Fall craft shows to get ready for..
The top sketch is ink and guache, of the fields that are nearby. The bottom photo is my kitchen window sill.
