Well, a long intense period in the summer studio is drawing nigh and it has been a good one. Very productive. I'm wrapping up a big submission for an art quilt show, the competition is tough, so we'll see.
A few calm seashore items to end the hottest summer on..
For the small, insignificant things I used to overlook, but now I stop and really see them.
The color of things, the way they are put together, the way food really tastes. How much there is to be thankful for. Even when you don't feel like it.
The simplest things are what matters. God, family, conversation, eating meals together. Where ever you are I wish you a very Thankful Holiday. Shalom.
On yet another busy weekend, hopefully the last for a while, I will search for a little peace. Ready to settle into the slow, warm, languid days of summer, now.
