Sunday

I was tagged by lovely Monatka, who does the most wonderful things with fiber and felt, in Inverness, Scotland, no less, on 5 things I love every day..

1. I try and pray each and every day. Love stems from this.
2. Coffee is a must, I like it very strong.
3. Art in just about every form or fashion is always on my mind. I've taken to carrying a small sketch pad, just so I can 'get it out' of my head..
4. I love how each and every day is new. The saying is true, things that are monumental in the night, are usually in perspective in the morning. (See #1)
5. Music is always a part of my day. I like all of it. Really..well just about..

I will tag Jackie , Kayla , and Annie Their style and their blogs knock me out!

flower + meme

I've been tagged by Rachel from this blog..here goes...
1) What was I doing 10 years ago?

We were living in Florida, near Ft. Lauderdale (Pembroke Pines) I was 7 months pregnant with our 3rd child, and I had learned to quilt!

2)What are 5 things on my to-do list for today?
*gah* Renew my military ID card, get the sticker put on my car..I just got a new windshield..paint!(yeah), fold laundry (boo), and plant the rest of the sunflower seeds in the garden.!

3)Snacks I enjoy: YES! umm, cookies, fritos, popcorn, strawberries, and any chocolate item, yes I know, not too healthy.

4)Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
Not sure I'd want billions..millions ok :-) definitely donate a large quantity to St. Jude's hospital, or any children's hospital, for that matter. Also to organizations that help women in 3rd world countries. I'd love to set up a co-op that helps people become self-sustaining.

5)Places I have lived:
Garden Grove & Oceanside CA,
Hatch End in Middlesex co. in England,
Leavenworth KS,
Iwakuni Japan,
Pembroke Pines Fl,
Fredericksburg Va

6)People I want to know more about:

Maddie's photos and blog are an inspiration. If I was a photographer, I'd want to take pictures like her.

Glennis uses shibori technique to dye silk and ribbon that will make your eyes fall out of your head

Cathy's art is so amazing, I want to sit and fiddle with all my sewing stuff all day after looking at her creativity.
