artistic endeavors in paint, yarn, fiber and paper. And occasionally my garden.
the stitching on this really has the feel of the wind and sea.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I wish I would have the initiative to sew...I HATE IT...although I do make hand-sewn Victorian lampshades. They're alot of work and expence, but beautiful when finished, but the eternal procrastinator, I have 3 projects in the works and no ambition to finish...hmmmm...maybe if I stayed off the computer...Your work is beautiful and so full of color, I especially love the oranges. I lived in Florida for a few years and got to witness the groves before they started tearing them up for housing additions...bummer!
I love the colours and fabrics.x
Hello Lorie, thanks so much for visiting me and for your kind words :) Lovely to see your textile works here .. sending best wishes from the orchard :)Rima
That looks so yummy, I would love to see the whole piece.
I love the curving lines that spiral through out this piece. It makes me want to brave doing more embroidery on my pieces. Did some last night, French Knots! ;-)Thanks for coming to my blog today!Hope you'll be back again soon.
