book love

I love Francoise Tellier-Loumagne's series of books, The art of knitting, and The art of felt. I love that she ties in the world around her and her inspirations of her work. I refer again and again to these books with gorgeous pictures and inspirational work.  Not at all a how-to (tired of those), very much a visual experience.' Check out her web site, in French, but great photos and galleries..

Yes, those kinds of books are much more interesting and intellectually challenging.

Thanks for the titles! I love books that are just inspiration, don't need to learn stitches anymore!!!!!!

That book look expensive.

rondell- they were not super cheap, around $30. new, I believe you can find them used for the $20 range. They are chunky books, about 300pgs each, with 600+ inspriational photos. Again, not in any way a how-to, but like Elizabeth said, I've got a ton of those already.
cheers!
