Emily Dickinson
Today is the anniversary of Emily Dickinson's death. I read her verse, and love her evocations of the human emotions and her penchant for wearing white.
This is a throw back painting I did in the '80's in a life painting class at CSULB.

They shut me up in Prose –
As when a little Girl They put me in the Closet – Because they liked me "still" –
Still! Could themself have peeped –
And seen my Brain – go round – They might as wise have lodged a Bird For Treason – in the Pound – |
