A Japanese blue and white ceramic bowl + some hankies. I sure have enjoyed the 30 macro challenge. I think it made me really take that camera with me, and look out for things. Check out others shots on the link to the right.

While looking through some historical portrait, I see this one of Henry VIII, I like his sleeve treatment, can you imagine sewing all that? I also saw this one of a 16th c. woman.. again the sleeves..

I thought I'd go for some 'holy' work.. will probably be backed with something..haven't decided that yet..

I'm joining this great group who are investigating the 'tulip' (macro) setting on our cameras. What fun!

First one of my favorite things..


Here's a small detail of a fiber/mixed media piece on the apostle Paul. This is part of an ongoing series on the apostles of the New Testament...non-figurative, and probably all mixed media..hand-dyed fabric, machine and hand sewn.
