Vermeer


I thought I might post now and then about artist I admire, painters, writers, musicians etc..

One I love, and have read a lot about is the Dutch painter Jan Vermeer. I can't imagine the detail and painstaking observation he did to get his results.

    I love how Vermeer's paintings seem to glow - the colors are so luminous.
